    • Held in a municipal building in Fairview Heights
    • Started with a prayer
    • Education system discussed – problems and areas for improvement
    • Mental health – children recovering from trauma
    • Racial unity and religious tolerance/openness
    • Holistic approaches to social issues
    • Family situations and positive/negative impacts
    • Volunteerism at schools – what parents can do
      • Tutoring
      • Asking what schools need
    • What others can do to support struggling parents
    • Around 50 in attendance

    • Everyday Bias by Howard J. Ross.  The first 75 people (students?) to register will receive a complimentary book; you will be notified if you registered after that point.
