“We live in a time of increasing polarization, but we believe that many people in our community share important values.
We’re planning a Unity Fest in October to bring people together to celebrate the values of unity and diversity.
The event will be free. We’re bringing together local religions congregations, families with children, inspirations speakers and culturally diverse performers in a one-day celebration that will feature culturally diverse performers in a one-day celebration that will feature food, non-alcoholic beverages, family-friendly activities, and panel discussions about diversity and unity.
We’re asking for your support to underwrite the costs of this event. Would you [your organization] be willing to give [$1,000] to support these values?”
