Thank you so much for participating in Unity Fest 2023! Here is some general information to make sure we all have a great time at the event.
Arrival
- Saturday, September 30th, 2023 at 10:00 am
- Address: Leclaire Park, 900 Hale Ave, Edwardsville, IL 62025
- There will be loading and unloading zone near the bandstand on Hale
- Parking during event is around the park and side streets
- Additional parking available at Leclaire School
What to bring (if you have them).
- 10×10 ft Canopy Tent
- Table
- Chairs
- Handouts/Information materials
- Games/treats
- Snacks or drinks for booth volunteers
If you are unable to bring a table and/or chairs, please contact Edwardsville Unity
What to expect
- Booth coordinator at the Welcome Booth will help you find your spot
- We will provide a small stamp to you at check in for our Community Card
- Attendees will bring the card to your booth, perform an action listed on the card, and ask for a stamp from you. They can redeem completed cards at the Welcome Booth.
- We’ll have water and food available
- The stage will rotate between speakers and performers with 15 min breaks between sets
- Please keep your booth up until 4PM, even if you run out of materials
- Lost & found will be at the Welcome Booth
- Share any security concerns with Welcome Booth or Edwardsville Police at the DARE booth
Reminders
- Nothing may be sold during Unity Fest. No money should change hands- that includes asking for donations. We believe this is a social justice issue.
- No politics. Please do not endorse a specific candidate, law or proposed law. Few things are as divisive as politics.
- The theme of the event is “Unity Begins With U”
- Invite your friends, family and clients!
