-Grants- Illinois Humanities Grant $5,000, Republic Services Grant $2,000 (and maybe some port-o-potties), Busy Grant $2,000

New Fund-Raising Ideas/Opportunities – Jamal has ordered shirts for sale with the Unity logo, details to follow – We discussed the idea of a benefit fund-raiser concert at the Wildey Theater to promote the event and raise money

New Business – Discussed the idea of putting out new round of fliers with a detailed list of clergy, speakers and performers with an emphasis on the free food and entertainment aspect of the event.

-Discussed some timeline/deadline items. Proposed September 5th as the last date to add vendors/booths with the intention to use the September 8th meeting to set a more accurate budget for the event. Need to submit all information for signage to Signarama by September 19th to be able to pick up the next week.
